Dinner and a Show

I'm starting to realize that my life is really boring.  Not SUPER boring, just a regular kind of boring.  My day usually consists of work (which I can't really talk about with specifics) and eating meals.  Ta-da!  Welcome to my life.  I live most of my discussion worthy life between the hours of 6 and 10pm.  Like today, for instance.  Not much going on at work, just the end of the week.  Came home and Tifini was asleep.  Boy, did she need the sleep.  She didn't even wake up when we had dinner.  Dinner was a Pepperoni and Italian Sausage Pizza from Papa John's.  With their delectable Garlic Sauce.  We always order a few extra garlic sauces.  So - funny story.  We used to eat Papa John's when I was younger.  Now, not all the time, but if they had a good deal, we ordered from Papa John's.  Well, round about my teenage years, we stopped ordering from them.  Mostly because the crust was usually burned.

Well, a few months ago I had my friend Laura over and we got pizza for everyone at home.  Laura wanted Papa John's and the family wanted stuffed crust from Pizza Hut.  Well, we went both places.  And would you believe it - mom liked the Papa John's pizza better!  I know, it was a shock.  So, now Papa John's is back in the pizza rotation.  We picked up the pizza from Papa John's and came home to watch a movie.  I wanted to watch Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and mom said that she could sleep through an espionage movie just as well as any other.  Well, here's another shock - she stayed awake the whole time and actually liked it!  Mom.  Liked. A spy movie.  The only other one in recent history that she liked was Red.  Small steps.  It was fun to just relax and watch a movie with my momma.
