Boat and Welds

Today was a very lazy Saturday.  We were going to be all kinds of productive and surprise Tifini.  Ya, that didn't happen.  There were lists and things we wanted to do, but just couldn't seem to do.  Well, here's what we did do.

Breakfast - delicious steak, eggs and pancakes.  (read - leftovers, but delicious ones).  We did some cleaning, but not quite as much as we should have.  I wanted to deep clean my room - clean out a few drawers, dust, vacuum, etc.  But I couldn't seem to make myself do it.  Oh well, there's always tomorrow, or Tuesday maybe.

We were going to go shopping, but when we looked outside we saw that the wind had blown off part of our boat cover.  It looked like the line we used to tie it down before had weakened and broke.  So we went to the dollar store and picked up a few bundles of rope.
Finished product.  It was a little difficult to tie down with the wind still going, but we did it.  Vaughn came over while I was working on the boat and welded the handle of his lawn mower.  The left side broke awhile ago, and he welded it, then the right side decided it wanted some attention too.  So he welded and I finished tying down the boat cover.  After we were all finished, mom and I had steak and potatoes for dinner.  I think we may be getting tired of steak... maybe.
