Roofing Day #2

Roofers are back at it again, bright and early.  I still feel pretty terrible.  Temperature is down from last night, but still high.  Mom stopped by Safeway to get some more Gatorade for the roofers and some cookies for us:
They're Pumpkin Chocolate Chip.  I love fall and all the pumpkin flavored goodies.  Anyway, mom checked on me and then she went to work for me at the office.  I put in my ear plugs and slept most of the morning away.  Mom came home at lunch and the roofers were just about an hour away from finishing.  She got the invoice and... they came in under bid!  Don't know how it happened, but it did.  Mom told the workers to take all the remaining Gatorade, and they were very grateful.  One expressed his thanks and asked if he could come do her roof again next year.  So, thanks again Sheri and Blake for highly recommending this.

When mom came home for lunch, she brought a package I received at the office.  I ordered a pair of white work shoes, and a pair of sneakers for Zumba.  They have a different tread on them that makes some of the Zumba moves easier.  I'll post pictures when I get feeling better.  Anyway, the crew was done with our roof by about 2pm today.  Overall, I've spent the majority of today in bed.  Here's to hoping this doesn't last very long.
