Mormons, Pho Saigon and Gas

We Met the Mormons today.  Hehehe. I'm sorry, I can't help it.  The pun was just too easy.  Anyway, we had a late breakfast, did some work and then headed to the 12:30pm showing.  We got there about half an hour early and got our favorite seats!  The showing wasn't very full, but there were still quite a few people there.  I enjoyed the movie and all the different stories.  Just one thing really bugged me.  The narrator girl's eyebrows.  Something was just off there, and it was distracting.  Although I did enjoy her little interview segment with the video clips from popular media.  I hadn't seen some of those before.

After the movie, mom went to dinner with Pam and Nolen.  Tif and I picked up Pho Saigon (local Vietnamese cuisine) and headed home.  We really like their Bun Ga Xao (pronounce at your own risk).  It's a lemongrass chicken with rice noodles and this little salad.  After we finished dinner and mom got home, we made a shopping trip to Walmart for a few groceries.  Mom needed gas, so we stopped at Safeway and the price has gone down.  I never thought I'd be this happy to see $3.22 a gallon.  But considering it's been up around $3.80 and $3.90 for the last few months, maybe not that surprising.
