JoAnn's, Thai and the Theater

Tifini and I decided to be crazy this morning.  We woke up at 7:30am and went to stand in line for the JoAnn's grand opening.  They gave out gift cards to the first 100 people in the door.  The amounts varied, but most of them were $10.  We stood in line behind a couple older ladies.  After talking, we realized that they could be us in 40-50 years.  They were sisters who lived in the area and decided to come to the grand opening together.  We got talking about keys, and how Tif has so many.  One of the women proceeded to pull out at least 4 key rings all fairly full of keys.  The other woman pulled out a single key ring with just a few keys.  Tif and I are exactly the same way.  She has tons of keys and I have just a few.  We felt particularly blessed to get a glimpse of who we could be someday.

I went to work after that, and Tif ran some more errands.  She took today off to go to JoAnn's and to use up some personal time.  She stopped by the office a little before lunch for an adjustment.  Then we all (mom included) went to lunch at the Thai Cuisine.  It feels like I haven't been there for ages.  And Jamsry (I actually have no idea how to spell her name) made the bamboo curry today.  A little while ago she told us that her husband, SomChai (phonetic spelling as best I can), makes it too weak, and she makes it with plenty of curry.  Well, there was definitely plenty of curry today.  Still loved it.

This evening, Tifini and Amber went to a play in Tri-Cities (Richland, I think...), so she was gone most of the evening.  Mom and I ate chicken pot pies for dinner and then went to the theater to see "Best of Me".  It's a Nicholas Sparks movie.  That's about all that needs to be said.  It wasn't a terrible movie, but I'd be okay never seeing it again.  When we got out of the movie it was raining.  And mom's windshield wipers are dead.  So we stopped by Walmart and got her some new ones.  Then we headed home.  Tif got home just after 11pm.  She had a good time.  And the show was interesting - it was acted by only 2 people (playing many different parts), which is really interesting.
