Woke up this morning and decided to have a plan. So I made a list of things I could do before getting ready for church. Then I embarked on completing said list. I was unsuccessful in everything, but successful in small things. I started on a craft project with my newfound book-art capabilities, put a few things away and then got ready for church. It was fast and testimony meeting, but nothing that was said sticks in my mind. Except, we officially have teachers for Relief Society. Let me explain. Our last RS President decided that she would just ask random people to teach, instead of calling teachers who had to teach once a month. Well, we have a new RS Presidency, and now we have teachers. Albeit, I'm not overly fond of any of the teachers... Let's just say I may be studying for institute during RS from now on. But we'll see. Maybe they'll surprise me. I doubt they will, but it's possible. I also have a Sacrament Chorister! I am so excited. They stole my favorite one for the RS Presidency, and the other one I had left the state for a month and now she's on a mission. So, yes, super excited for an official chorister.
Temple Prep got underway today. Total of 5 YSAs present, thank goodness, RS, then home. Mom had put in a roast, so we had that for dinner with potatoes and chive butter. Then Tif and I went up to the Nelson Chapel for Youth Chorus. Our friend Amber is doing it this fall, but she needed some help today, as she is out of town until about 6pm. So we did sectionals of the music, Tif took the sopranos and I took the altos. It was a little nerve racking, but very fun. Then they all came back together at 6pm and Amber had arrived, so she led the rest of the rehearsal. Tif and I went home and Amber stopped by to chat a little bit later. Overall, really tired. It's been a long day, but a pretty good one. It's not even 9 and I am heading to bed.
