Lawns and Pizza Mishaps

Tif wasn't feeling very well this morning, so she called in sick today.  I however, had to go to work.  Partway through the morning, mom called and informed me that the roofers would be coming tomorrow.  Well, I had planned to mow the east and west lawns tomorrow.  I thought maybe I'd wake up early and get them done before the roofers came.  Ya, they're coming at 7:30am tomorrow... So I proposed a plan:  I would stay home this afternoon and mow the lawns if mom would cover me at work.  She agreed to said plan.  It took a bit longer than I thought, but that was mostly because the grass was a little too long to bag, so I went over it twice to pick up the clippings.  I also moved the trampoline away from the house so they would have more room to work.

Mom came home from work and we decided on a white sauce pizza from Pizza Hut.  I ordered online, because they had an online special:  a "bacon stuffed crust" pizza with a couple toppings.  We thought it was worth a try.  Well, when I went in to pick it up, they didn't have my name on the queue.  Our Pizza Hut puts your name on this screen above the "to-go" register, so you can see if your pizza is ready.  Ya, my name wasn't there.  So I pulled out my phone, went to my e-mail and found the receipt.  Apparently, they ran out of the specialty cheese for that specific offer, and my order had gotten deleted from their system somehow.  However, he was very nice and offered to honor the online special and put together a regular stuffed crust.  I'm not really agitated or upset when these things happen, because computer systems malfunction.  This I know.  And he was ever so nice.  In fact, different members of the staff kept offering me a soda while I waited, on the house.  And the wait was worth it:  probably one of the best pizzas we've had in awhile.  So, would be catastrophe averted by some common courtesy and patience.
