Apple Crisp and Institute

Worked on updating my blog today.  Mom assured me that I didn't need to have a post every day, but it almost feels like a shame to miss a day.  Anyway, in updating, I started taking pictures to post with some previous days and realized I didn't show you the finished roof.  I was sick that week, so I have a good excuse.  Here it is.  On the second picture the sun came out a little more. Same roof, just different lighting!

I like Tuesdays, because sometimes mom and I have the time and inclination to cook together.  She made up her zucchini casserole and she walked me through her Apple Crisp recipe.  It turned out a little different than expected, but was still very good.  Then I headed to institute.  We had a little different lesson format tonight.  Bishop Stones decided to do a student led format and we discussed 3 consecutive verses from 1 Nephi 17.  It was very interesting, but isn't something I'd want to do every week.  Luckily, Bishop doesn't plan on making this the permanent format.  After institute I came home and put the trash out.  Recycle week is every other week, and sometimes it's hard to remember whether it goes out this week, or the next.  Usually I can rely on a couple neighbors to have theirs out, so I just see if they put out recycling.  But recently, these neighbors seem to have given up the schedule and just put it out every week, even though it doesn't get emptied.  So I check the schedule and I know it isn't recycling week, but it feels weird not putting it out when some others have it out.  That's all,
