Sundays I try out new hair-dos. Some of them don't get to stay for more than a few minutes. This one lasted, however. I'm still getting used to fishtail braids, but I'm improving. Church was good today, though busy. I tried to make cookies for my loyal choir, but I failed to see that the dough should be chilled at least 2 hours prior to baking. So, the choir didn't get cookies today. But they started a Family History Sunday school class, which I am going to attend. We didn't get into much today, so we'll see how it goes. After choir, we had a delicious roast for dinner and I baked up those cookies I mentioned.
They were very good. I tried out a new "Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie" recipe. They turned out really well. Adding this recipe to my repertoire, especially now that I know they need to be made ahead.
