Funny story - This is not Bella, but this picture is really close (again, taken off the internet). The main difference is that Bella has fewer black spots - mostly just on her ears and tail.
And this is the same layout as Josslin's apartment, but with different furnishings.
Josslin let me take her bed last night and she slept in the living room. Well, at about 2:20am, this sound woke me. It was a *tink tink, tink tink tink*. I opened my eyes and looked around. What should I see by my feet, but Bella's head. Hehehe. Scared the crap out of me. In hindsight, she probably heard me moaning and came to see if there was something wrong. The sound that woke me was her doing the shake thing that dogs do. I sat up and nudged her head toward the door and said, "No. Out." I pointed to the door and out she went. Like I said, one of the best behaved dogs I've seen. Kind of glad she woke me up, because the room was getting a little hot. Because she woke me up, I shut the door and opened the window. It was only sweet dreams from that point on.
Slept in a little this morning and took a shower. Josslin has a few craft projects, so I talked with her while she set out the squares for this lap quilt. We ordered a garlic chicken pizza from the Pizza Pipeline. It was super yummy. Then Josslin pulled out her crochet. She's making this gorgeous afghan with wide blue, green and cream stripes. We were just talking about crafts and she mentioned that she would love to learn to knit. So we ran to Walmart and got the scarf yarn that looks like it took a lot of work, but is just a standard garter stitch. She made some delicious Pumpkin Spice Cake Mix Cookies, too. They were delicious and very simple. They cooled while I taught Josslin to knit. The trick here is that Josslin is left handed, and I am right handed. So I had to think about things backwards and a little longer than I usually do. She caught on really quick. It's fun to teach and watch someone learn. But then I had to leave so I could both avoid traffic and get home in time for institute. I like the drive, especially since I can listen to the whole Wicked CD. "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" - one of my favorites.
Got home just after 5:30pm and talked with mom for awhile. Then I was off to institute. We were given an assignment last week that each of us were going to discuss today. Well, only three of us did the assignment. So, he gave us a pass on the final! We still took the final, though, because we could. Then we watched Ephraim's Rescue with air popped popcorn. Didn't get home until almost 10pm, but it was worth it. I really liked the movie. Mom and I hadn't eaten dinner, so we stopped by McDs and got a burger. Another long day, but absolutely worth it.
