Productive Thursday

Not as sore today as I anticipated being, though quite a bit more tired than I thought.  I took a nap during my lunch hour and didn't move, which is unusual for me.  Finally got a couple big projects done at work and picked up my mug from the Art Garden.  It's beautiful.

Except for the fact that the glaze is chipping off.

Yep.  They got a bad batch of clay from their supplier.  So, they gave me in store credit for the whole amount plus $5.  I'm sad it didn't turn out, but it was nice that they were willing to try and correct the problem.

Mom and I had a delicious dinner of BLT lettuce wraps.  Mom mixed up cut bacon, tomatoes, eggs and mayo, then we ate that mix on pieces of lettuce.  It was excellent.  Then we undertook a project I've been trying to do for awhile.

Yes, that is my name on my new Temple towel!  Our ward brings towels to the temple and they are just so small.  So I bought my own.  But I don't want to lose it to the ward bin either.  So I embroidered my name on it.  Mom bought an older machine from her friend several months ago, and we just haven't had the time and space to set it up.  Well, we set it up on the kitchen table and got to work.  Took two tries, but I finally got it.  So happy.
