Split Ends and Fair Time

Mowed the west lawn this morning.  It was very humid and hot, so only that lawn got done today.  Then I did some more of the never-ending task (laundry) and got my hair trimmed.  Still growing it out, but was getting lots of split ends.

Then mom and I went to the fair.  Today was their free entry day.  We like that because, really, we only go to peruse the quilts and commercial building.  And buy spaceburgers.  We left the fair at about 3:30p, and they closed it down just after 4pm because of severe weather warnings.  Yep, we were pretty lucky.  We had spaceburgers for dinner and I went to institute.  A group went to Dairy Queen after, which was really fun.  And we did get some of that severe weather.  It wasn't too terribly bad here, thankfully.  Just some wind and much needed rain.
