Sometimes things happen that tick me off, but I should just let them roll off my back. A friend from college messaged me on Facebook this morning. It was kind of random because I haven't spoken to her in several years. Well, we chatted for a minute and she must have realized that either I wasn't the Sara she was thinking of, or that I wasn't in a position to help her with whatever she needed. Once that happened, I got these quick messages. "Oh." Next message was "Okay". It's never a good sign when the 'oh' and 'ok' are in separate messages. And I forget the exact wording, but the next message was basically "have a good life." Ya, that ticked me off. She either thought I was someone else (in which case, just tell me that you got the wrong Sara), or she was looking for someone to help her in some way, like room with at college, give a ride, etc. (in which case, don't just wish me a good life and sign off). As you can tell, I'm still harboring a little animosity...
Anyway, after work today, I met with Mary at the ArtGarden and started painting my mug. They closed at 8pm today, so I didn't get it all done, but I got quite a bit done.
It's amazing how much concentration it takes, but at the same time how relaxing it is. Mary and I chatted for a few minutes and then headed our separate ways. Mom left at 4pm to meet Tif just as she got out of work. Then they drove to Wenatchee for a Costco run. Because I had work and already made plans with Mary, I didn't go. So I picked up Taco Bell for dinner and came home. Mom and Tif got home about an hour after I did. They had quite a bit of fun without me. Tif found this Greek Yogurt Jalapeño dip that she says is really good. It's been a long day, but a fairly decent one.
