Weeds, Who and Walmart

So, our lawn has been quite weed-ridden for the past few months.  I am not a lawn technician and actually have very little experience outside of mowing and doing what I'm told (like, "hold this", and "get that", etc.)  So this morning, I tried my hand at using lawn safe weed killer.  But before I headed out, Mom and I made breakfast.  Okay, she made most of it, but I baked the bacon.  It was delicious, and so much fun to have breakfast all together.  We only have that opportunity on Saturdays.

Then out to spray the lawn.  Tif snuck some pictures:

I used 2 whole backpacks, and sprayed all three lawns.  We'll see how well it works...

Had leftover pizza for lunch and watched a couple episodes of Doctor Who.  Amazingly, Tifini agreed to let me watch it, even though she was in the family room first.  She even stayed out there with me, although she made a concerted effort not to watch the show.  (For those of you who are confused:  I am a huge Doctor Who fan.  Tifini is my polar opposite.  While she doesn't necessary hate it, she also has no love for it.  At all.  So this was a big step.  Just getting her and a Doctor Who episode in the same room is a feat.)

Then Mom and I went out to Walmart and got some groceries.  I also found a cute black sweater, which I plan to wear with lots of different skirts and dresses in the coming cold seasons.
