FHE - Potato Bar

I haven't been attending FHE recently because they keep playing sports.  Well, tonight was the 4th week dinner!  After work I came home and watched an episode of "Kitchen Nightmares" with Tifini, then we went up to FHE.  It's nice being at the Stake Center because it's less travel time, so we can leave at 7pm and still be there in time for the prayer.  Anyway, they had a great baked potato bar with a whole bunch of fixings, cornbread and different cobblers for dessert.  We were some of the first people to get through the food line and get a seat.  Then we had fun playing an intriguing game of "who's gonna sit with us."  There was only one person who came to sit with us that we didn't predict.  It was a fun night, but a little sad, because most of the singles ward is younger than I am.  Anyway, after FHE we were good girls and came straight home instead of going shopping.  I don't know if I mentioned this, but we're trying not to eat in our rooms at all.  This is the beginning of week number 2, and we're still adjusting.  I think it's making us all a little cranky.  I've gotten so used to having a little bit of chocolate or something that I can snack on in my room.  Well, that isn't there anymore.  It's good for us, but difficult to change the habit.  And part of going out to Walmart was to get said chocolate or goodies to eat in our rooms.  So it has kind of sucked the fun out of late night Walmart runs, too.  But that's probably a good thing.
