The Piper Barn Show

Yep, super sore from Zumba.  One doesn't realize exactly how much one utilizes a specific set of muscles until one makes them sore.  Why does most reaching also have to use my obliques... why?  But it's a fun sore, because this sore I earned.  Lunch today was J's Teriyaki.  Mom and her friend Darlene stopped by the Piper Barn Show this morning to see if there was anything they desperately needed to buy (for Christmas presents?  I can dream.)  They got back into town just about the same time I was done with work, so I met them for lunch.  After work, Mom graciously agreed to come with Tif and I to the Barn Show.  There wasn't a ton there we were interested in, but I did find something:

This is a spoon ring.  It's made from part of a spoon, hence the name.  I've always had a sort of fascination with these rings (and other jewelry she makes out of them) but I could never find one that both fit, and that I liked.  It was always one or the other.  Well, I spent the time tonight and went through all the rings on display.  I ended up with about 10 that fit me, which got whittled down to 4 that I presented to Mom and Tif for opinions.  This was the winner.  Tif got a ruffled church bag, and I think everyone bought a little chocolate.  We didn't stay over an hour, but had a lot of fun.  Again, so very grateful for heaters in the car.
