It's been a lazy day. I think the only thing of real importance I did today was help mom set up the new microwave. We watched a couple movies later in the day. Tif and I wanted to watch "Into the Woods," which is this musical we fell in love with, but they took it off Netflix. Ya, not too happy with that. Anyway, we found a movie called "Hours" that looked interesting - it was. Basically, in the middle of hurricane Katrina, a man struggles to keep his newborn premature daughter alive by almost constantly generating power for her ventilator. It was mostly just one actor talking to himself most of the movie - but it was very interesting. Still not sure how I feel about it. Mom got a few phone calls so she didn't catch much of the movie.
Tif and I decided the night was still young, so we put in Brigadoon. Classic. Tif bought it on DVD, and we watched the extras. They have this deleted scene/song between the bride and groom in Brigadoon, and we know why they deleted it. Because this guy is an amazing tenor that almost puts Gene Kelly to shame. And since Gene was the star, they took out the song, which was beautiful. While we watched, Tif went through papers and I tried to work on some crafts. That's about it. We're setting back the clocks before bed so we don't wake up panicked in the morning.
