Happy Birthday Dave!
Today was our prep day for Thanksgiving. We made our cold foods (like salads) so they would be ready without much prep tomorrow. We went shopping for some pies, but couldn't find any we liked! So Tif decided she would make a pecan pie. She did pretty good if you ask me.
We kept having to make supply runs, and during one of those, Mom lucked into a sweet potato pie! While Mom and Tif we doing our "final" supply run, I cleaned the kitchen and started making our M&M turkeys. At some point today mom also made her applesauce cake - ya, the kitchen was busy! Tif and I stayed up super late finishing the M&M turkeys, but it was worth it, because they are adorable.
