I am the Cookie Master

So, last night was fun. We were going to go to a really late night showing of a movie, but our roomies went out with friends instead. And I was tired, but too frustrated/annoyed with life to go to sleep. So I made cookies. For some reason making cookies is really soothing to my soul. And I was so proud that I took pictures!

A dozen in the oven. (It almost rhymes...)

My cookies on tin-foil because I don't have a cooling rack (and I haven't ever used one) and I don't have a towel/rag that I trust my cookies to. Oh well, Tin-Foil works just fine!

And I can't resist getting on the same level as the cookies. It just makes you even hungrier looking at them...

So, those are my cookies. I was really proud of them. Still am actually. And just this morning I took a dozen over to our neighbors because they are awesome and always include me/my apartment in lots of stuff. So I dropped them off this morning and then went to enrichment.

For enrichment we learned how to cut hair. We had about 8 guys there, and 3 girls who grew up cutting their brothers' hair and family and friends' hair. So they taught us some tricks/tips. And I even got to cut my visiting teacher's hair. She has really long dark hair, and she isn't really attached to it. So Natalie (one of the girls teaching) showed us what to do, and watched us for a few minutes, correcting us and giving tips. Then she just let us cut Lindsey's hair. It was fun - and I didn't mess up!!! I'm so happy. And it was rather ironic because Natalie came back and finished the cut because Anna and I were kinda tired and unsure of what to do next. And when Natalie looked at the finished product, she actually had to do more alterations on what she had cut then on what we had cut. TrAnSlAtIoN: We rock!

So, it's been a good morning. And now I think I'm going to go have some cookies and milk! (Because I deserve it!)

Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art... It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival.
