Eyeliner - who knew?!?

Yesterday I got out of class and needed to make some copies, so I went to Cougar Creations and did the copies. Then I traveled to the Lost&Found thinking maybe someone turned in the piece of my watch that fell off (long story). Well, right between the Cougar Creations and the Lost&Found is the BYU Barbershop and Salon. I walked past totally expecting to see 10 guys waiting for hair cuts. To my surprise there was no one waiting and two stylists just talking. So I walked to the Lost&Found, and they didn't have my watch piece - big surprise. And I decided I'd just ask how much a wash/cut/style was. I was pleasantly surprised - only $22. So I asked if they had time or if I needed to make an appointment for later. She got me in right then!! It's just been my day for a couple days... Here is the finished product!!

It's not a huge drastic change from before, but I got lots of layers and things just trimmed up from my A-line bob. I really like it - the style's light and fun!

And so this morning I got back from dance and hit the true test of a hair cut - the shower the day after!!! (image gasps and a big Dun Dun Dun) And it turned out really well! I just blow-dried a little and it looks pretty good. Albeit - it could be better with the help of a smoothing product and a straightening iron... And I discovered the best kept secret (at least from me) in makeup... Eyeliner! How come nobody told me eyeliner is amazing?? I decided I'd try it this morning (since I have plenty of time to wash it off if need be...) and I really like it! I looked in the mirror and just went, "I have eyes!!" So, I am proud of myself for being adventurous and not ending up looking like the half-dead. Of course, here's a picture!!

For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it.

For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it.
For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it.

I like the eyeliner! Here's the story - growing up Mom told me I wore too much eye shadow. I didn't wear eye shadow. To this day I still don't because I'm afraid if none was too much than any would be way too much. Years later, come to find out, she meant eyeliner. So you must be a victim of my youth. Sorry.

Cute, Cute, Cute - love your hair!
Proud of you - eyeliner is still OK, but as with everything, too much is too much - Still! Sheri!
