So, We lost to Florida. That's all I've got to say. 54-28. Sad day. Oh well, at least we got a few touchdowns!
Today was my second official day of work! Wahoo! It's tiring, and my feet kinda hurt... and most of my muscles... come to think of it, I think my brain's tired too! But it's gonna be fun working for catering. Everything's pretty well organized, even if things get a little chaotic at times. And - bonus - I can get dinner during my break! That makes me really happy. Because our shifts can go from 4 hours to upwards of 7 or 8 hours. So, taking a break and grabbing some food is a really good thing, else I think we'd all faint from exhaustion.
And I officially love all the work. Okay-so it's not fun being tired and achy, but I really do enjoy the actual work. Serving people and clean up and working with a (relatively) small group for each event. You get to know people and you can trust the people who are overseeing the event. Of course they may get some things wrong, like "oops, that needed to go to the second floor, freezer 5," but they aren't about to yell at you for not knowing where to get more clean rags... Overall, I'm pretty excited about life right now.
Well, It was a long day at work and I have church in the mid-morning, so I'm probably gonna read and head to bed. Hope everyone is doing well!
Oh - and welcome home Lisa & Amy! I'm glad everyone is safe and healthy!

Good to know you survived! I was worried about you on Friday - that was a long shift. But youth is on your side - you'll bounce back.
