Got back down to Utah about a week and a half ago. Mom, Dad and I drove it all in one day! Yeah! I even got to drive. I moved back into my apartment the next day, and threw up the day after that! I spent all of last Saturday (August 29) lying in bed because I hadn't eaten and couldn't eat and felt really really weak. But I was pretty much on the mend by Sunday.
Well, then comes Monday, the start of school and the joys of adding/dropping classes. I finally got a pretty good schedule and have finally decided on a major - and no one gets to laugh. You may chuckle, but no laughing: Family Science: Home and Family Living. And within the major they have "specializations" like interior design, food, family finance, etc. I'm really looking forward to it!
The first week of classes drew to a close and I applied for a job with BYU Catering. I've gotten the job, I'm just waiting on them to put me into their online system so I can start working. I should get some information either tomorrow or Tuesday... but more likely Tuesday because Monday is a holiday.
And today was church at 10:15am. I was asked to play the piano in sacrament meeting and I did a pretty good job, considering they changed the closing hymn on me just a few seconds before I was about to start playing... And I'm in Relief Society with my roommate Britani and one of my really good friends Heather. Right now, I just know I'm going to like our Relief Society. I don't have a calling yet - but the Chairs and Co-Chairs of the ward have a meeting on Tuesday to draft people for callings. (And yes, that meeting is often called "the draft". I'm not making that up.) So I should have a calling in one of the councils by the end of this week.
All in all life is going well. I'm a little tired, but I know that if I nap I'll be up late and then I'll sleep in because there's no school tomorrow and that will just lead to a nasty cycle of exhaustion and worry. (Wow, a simple nap can be pretty devastating...)
I'm sorry that I don't have any pictures, but I'll try to get some soon. I love you all - and have a wonderful Sunday!
