Sorry it's been awhile...

Heya,

Sorry it's been so long. School get's pretty busy, you know how it is. I just wanted to say hello and update you on a couple things.

So, my roommate from last semester decided to take a break from BYU. How long that break will be, I have no idea. It may be that she won't ever come back. Either way, her possessions have now been removed from the apartment... It's an odd feeling, not having a roommate all of a sudden. But now I have the room to myself! :)

And this past weekend I went on a date with a guy in my ward, Aaron. It was really fun. We doubled with his roommate Jason and we made a sofa fort in their living room. We spent quite awhile getting it to stay up... In the end, it was awesome! We had pizza and watched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". It was a pretty good movie. The main character goes around narrating whatever he does, so after the movie we took down the fort and started narrating everything we did. and then I came home. Aaron, however, got some pictures of the fort. He isn't in any of them, cuz he was behind the camera!

This is Jason in the middle of the fort. There was a small open space between the couches and he got in there somehow...

This is the fort, basically finished. We had to do a little adjusting after this, but this is basically the end result. Jason is still in the middle, his date is by the window and I'm there on the left... in case you hadn't noticed...

Here is the inside with Jason still in the middle. He just couldn't get out of there... Anyway, we put down a comforter on the floor and then the couches. And the TV, of course.

So, this requires explaining. Jason was going to get out by somersaulting over the end table we put there, so I looked in. Just as I looked in, Aaron took a picture... my hair has been highlighted for your viewing pleasure!

So, Laura took some pictures of me before the date, but my camera died and she took them on hers. And I just haven't gotten around to getting them from her. As soon as I do, I'll put them up. Anyways, it was an awesome evening. After the movie, but before we tore down the fort we had milkshakes. And they used fruit preserves to flavor it... I have never seen that done before - new revelation in milkshakes. Then we took down the fort... that was a sad couple of minutes. And then it was home!

I'm doing pretty good, just a little busy with school right now. Though I am loving my sewing class. Right now I'm just making pajama pants, but it's a lot of fun!

Well, I'm a little tired and tomorrow is still a school day.
Love you all!

Listen to your heart,
Listen to your soul,
Let it tell you what to do,
Let it guide your path.
