Rainy Days in Provo

Sunday and part of today we've had rain. On Sunday it was really heavy rain for a few hours, and today has been lighter rain for a few more hours. The sky was kind of dark and the Y mountain looked cool. Laura and I even went out for a few minutes and took pictures. I thought I'd post some of the ones I really like:

This is the view from our porch to the left. Of course, by now
all the leaves are gone because of the strong wind we had today.

I thought this was beautiful. Some of the time the fog
would completely cover the Y, and I was lucky to get
a picture where you can still see the Y through the fog.

And my favorite:

I love these leaves. They were on the steps of Winter Quarters
and they just looked so beautiful I had to take a
picture. I just absolutely love this picture.

And just a couple of minutes ago I was walking home and looked over at Y mount and you can't even see the Y. I had to take a picture:

I think it's funny that the clouds just perfectly covered up the Y. And it's just beautiful. And while days in Moses Lake can be pretty, it's a different pretty with the mountains and all.

Aside from the rain, life's been good. I've got a bit of a cold, and the rain isn't helping. On a happy note - I finished my computer lab today without getting any more help. It was a tough lab and I had to get help twice yesterday. I thought when I went in today that I'd have to get help again, but I just needed to move a couple of things around. And that makes me happy! :)

Fantasktic pictures! You made even a gloomy day seem beautiful!
Thanks for sharing. I love it when you see the beauty in ordinary things. Our leaves fell from trees yesterday, but because it was raining, they stayed mostly in the neighbor's yard where they live...goody.

Nice pictures. Those days are beautiful. Sometimes gloomy, but I always love gloomy days (it is a change of pace - as long as they don't stay around!).
